Artistic Directors
Christopher Preece is a musician and theatre maker trained at Trinity College of Music, now TrinityLaban.
He enjoys devising, playing many instruments, being a physical musician, singing songs, being absurd, doing complicated things, creating an atmosphere, engaging with an audience, working with text, standing still, improvising, live electronics, and accompanying choirs, among other things.
Recent credits include; 'A Tasty Tale' (The Spark Arts), 'My Friend Mole' (Bird's Nest Theatre), 'The Fix', a radio play (Theatre Centre), 'The Chair' (Unicorn Theatre), 'Louder Than Words' (Cathy Waller Company), 'The Pardoner's Tale' (Unicorn/Tangere Arts), 'POMP' (The Mostly Everything People), and Iron Man (Graeae Theatre).
As a jazz musician Christopher has toured the UK and internationally with big bands and small groups; appearing on BBC London, BBC Radio 2 and Jazz FM.
He is resident composer/musician with the award-winning Cathy Waller Company, plays drums for the band “Happy Mammoth”, teaches, conducts and accompanies for Newham Music Trust
Jennifer trained at Laban and continues to work in Dance, Theatre, Opera and Film alongside her work with The Mostly Everything People. Jennifer’s work as Choreographer and Movement Director has been performed in Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
She also works with writer/performer Lowri Jenkins and together (under the name of NOVA) they have taken ‘Invisible City’ to ACT Festival (Bilbao), SCHIUME (Venice), Cafe de las Artes (Santander), nunArt (Barcelona), Rich Mix (London), Chapter Arts Centre (Cardiff). London previews of the show will feature at Camden People’s Theatre before going to Edinburgh Fringe 2015 and continue on for a nationwide UK tour in early 2016.
Recent Choreographic credits include; Snow Child (Dancing Brick/Unicorn Theatre), We Can Make You Happy (House of Blakewell), Dido and Aeneas (OperaUpClose), Soul Bear R&D (PAD Productions), Rhinegold (Liveartshow), Dido and Aeneas (Bath International Music Festival/Royal College of Music) and Kaspar (Aya Theatre). As a perfomer Jennifer continues to work for Legs Akimbo in musical comedy production ‘The Church’ and has also danced for Dr.Clive’s Circus, Cathy Waller Company, A.Human (music video), Herve ft Ronki (Music video) and played the female lead in dance film 'Mysteries 3D’ (Moonshiner films).
